The Maples Resort is located on beautiful Paradise Lake, just 5 miles south of Mackinaw City, Michigan on Old US 31 Hwy.
We offer newly renovated cabins within 100 feet of the beach on beautiful Paradise Lake. The cabins sit along 700ft of waterfront property with a clean, sandy beach excellent for swimming and fishing. Our facilities are just 5 miles from Mackinaw City at the tip of lower Michigan. Unique to our facility is the privacy and seclusion of the cabins. The cabins cannot be seen from the road-side as you have to travel down a cozy, tree-covered, private drive. You are minutes from the Mackinaw city, which offers Quite, Secluded, Private, Swimming Beach. Updated, Modern Cabins, shopping, dining, water park and more. The cabins rent by the week and are wonderful for family vacations or private gathering .
Each cabin has a fully equipped kitchen which includes stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishes and pot/pans. There is indoor plumbing including hot/cold water, full bath and showers. Check our amenities and what to bring. Please note that we do NOT provide linens and towels. This reduces the cost of the rental and assured you the guest that all sheets and towels are absolutely clean.
Three of the cabins are 2 bedrooms with a hideaway sofa in each living room, they will sleep 6 comfortably. Best of all; these three cabins have a spacious, attached screened-in porch for you to enjoy the view of our lake. We also offer a 3 bedroom cabin with one of the bedrooms having bunk bed with most of the same features.
We are located on 5.2 acres with row boats and dock with a swim platform. The lake offers up a great selection of bass, pike, walleye, perch and various pan fish – right from the dock! There are no motorized restrictions on the lake. It is great for skiing and tubing, as well as kayaking and canoes. Local wildlife includes Eagles, Loons, Ducks and Deer.
The cabins are open and available to rent from Mid May through the Fall color tour season – usually mid-October. June, July and August rentals are weekly for 7 nights – and rent from Saturday to Saturday. Check in time is 3:00pm and check out is 10:00am. Early May and after Labor Day rentals are available for weekends, minimum two night stay. We welcome fisherman and they are able to use our fish cleaning house.
To maintain our family friendly atmosphere, please note that we do not allow:
- Pets
- ATV’s
- Hunting on site
- Dirt Bikes
- Tents or Campers
- Please watch your children, do not peel our birch trees. Pulling off the bark will kill the trees over time.
Pet boarding is availble in the area.
We do allow:
- Free use of dock for guest use
- Paying guests boats allowed
- Canoes and Kayaks are also welcome
- Row boat for guest usage
- Fish cleaning hut is available for your convenience
Prices Ranges from $850 – $1,100 per week depending upon the cabin and number of couples, long weekends available Spring and Fall.
